ABOUT
A senior-led consumer intelligence and market research firm.
Cadorial Research was founded on a simple thesis: companies making high-stakes decisions about consumers and markets deserve research led by senior practitioners – not delegated through layers of account management. We combine rigorous methodology, nationwide execution capability, and decision-ready synthesis designed for leadership teams.
THE FIRM
We do not run syndicated volume studies or deliver raw data without interpretation. We do not compete on low-cost execution, and we do not position research as a commodity procurement exercise. Our role is to produce rigorous, decision-oriented intelligence that leadership teams can act on with clarity and confidence.
Every engagement culminates in the Executive Decision Brief – a focused document built around findings, implications, recommendations, and supporting evidence, designed to be read quickly and acted on decisively.
Cadorial Research is a consumer intelligence and market research practice working with companies making high-stakes decisions about consumers and markets – pricing, positioning, market entry, product launches, brand strategy, customer experience, and growth strategy. Our work combines rigorous methodology, senior-led execution, and decision-ready synthesis designed for leadership teams.
We are built on a simple conviction: senior researchers should be on the project, not just on the pitch. The engagement lead who shapes the brief remains directly involved through research design, field interpretation, analysis, and final recommendation. We do not operate a layered account-management structure designed around delegation and utilisation targets.
Our operating model is intentionally senior-led and engagement-specific. Each engagement is structured around the methodological and sector requirements of the question, with specialist expertise assembled where required – including qualitative moderators, quantitative analysts, statistical specialists, and sector researchers. This model allows Cadorial to maintain genuine senior depth on the work itself, rather than concentrating seniority only at the sales layer.

Research Leadership
Cadorial Research is led by Saif Ali, Founder and Senior Partner. His work focuses on consumer behaviour, qualitative research, market-entry intelligence, positioning strategy, and decision-oriented synthesis for leadership teams.
The firm’s operating model reflects a belief that senior judgement should remain close to the work itself — from research design and field interpretation through analysis, synthesis, and final recommendation.
Rather than separating sales, strategy, and execution into layered structures, Cadorial is designed around direct senior involvement in the engagements it undertakes.

How we work – and who we work with
Cadorial does not operate the conventional agency model in which research briefs move through layered account-management structures before reaching the people doing the analytical work. We do not believe that model produces premium-grade consumer intelligence, and we are not structured around it.
Instead, each engagement is organised the way senior advisory work in other professions is organised – closer to a barristers’ chambers than a traditional agency hierarchy. Engagements remain directly led at the senior level, with specialist expertise assembled based on the methodological and sector requirements of the brief.
Where the question requires specific depth – advanced quantitative analysis, sector expertise, regional-language moderation, behavioural interpretation, or specialised statistical work – Cadorial works with a specialist research network selected for the needs of the engagement itself. Relevant expertise and roles are shared transparently with clients at brief stage.
This model allows Cadorial to maintain genuine senior depth on the work itself, rather than concentrating seniority only at the presentation layer. It also ensures that engagements are structured around the requirements of the question — not around internal utilisation targets or permanent staffing pressure.
How we think about methodology
Three principles govern every Cadorial engagement.
Rigorous without being academic.
We use the right method for the question, not the most fashionable one. We do not over-engineer when a simpler design holds; we do not under-engineer when the decision warrants depth. Our methodology notes are designed to be auditable by leadership teams, not decipherable only to researchers.
Pragmatic without being shallow.
Cadorial prioritises depth over volume. We take fewer engagements, apply senior judgement directly to the work, and conclude each engagement with recommendations designed for decision-making, not presentation theatre. Pragmatic is not the opposite of rigorous – it is the discipline of making rigour operationally useful.
Specific to India.
India is not one market. We calibrate sample structures across SEC, region, language, and life-stage dynamics rather than relying on simplified demographic groupings alone. Our fieldwork is designed around Indian retail, media, and behavioural realities – kirana, modern trade, quick commerce, linguistic variation, and regional consumption behaviour – not imported market templates.
What we believe
