COMPLIANCE & ETHICS
Research Compliance & Ethics
Cadorial Research is committed to the highest standards of research ethics, participant protection, data privacy, and client confidentiality. The following statements are operating commitments, not aspirations.
Compliance commitments
ICC/ESOMAR International Code
Cadorial adheres to the ICC/ESOMAR International Code on Market, Opinion and Social Research and Data Analytics. This includes informed consent of all participants, voluntary participation, accurate representation of the research purpose, honest reporting of findings, and protection of participant identity unless explicit consent is provided otherwise.
Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India)
Personal data collected during research engagements is processed in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and related implementation rules. Data is collected with consent, processed only for the stated research purpose, retained only as long as necessary, and deleted or anonymised where appropriate..
Research participant rights
Every participant in a Cadorial study has the right to receive a clear description of the study purpose, participate voluntarily, withdraw at any stage, have identifying information anonymised in client-facing outputs, and contact Cadorial directly with concerns related to the research process.
Client data confidentiality
Client engagement data – including research questions, findings, recommendations, and strategic discussions – is treated as strictly confidential. Confidentiality agreements and non-disclosure obligations are respected as standard across all engagements.
AI usage disclosure
Cadorial uses AI tools selectively inside internal workflows for tasks such as transcription support, coding assistance, draft refinement, and secondary research support. AI is not used to generate research findings or replace human judgement on sensitive interpretation and strategic recommendations.
Conflict of interest
Cadorial does not accept engagements where the work would create a material conflict of interest with an existing client relationship. Potential conflicts are disclosed transparently and engagements are declined where independence cannot be maintained.
CADORIAL RESEARCH
Trust in research is earned long before findings are presented.
Methodology discipline, participant protection, confidentiality, and intellectual honesty are foundational to every engagement Cadorial undertakes.
